BTC.email / Community · Public post

Attachments, a calmer reader, faster details, a full-width phone inbox, a simpler layout, clearer deletion, and stricter page protection

Product update · November 5, 2026

Public pages now run only the code our servers issue for each page load, and missing pages keep your appearance.

Every public page now runs only scripts issued for that page load, which limits what injected code could do.

A page that does not exist now works fully and keeps your light or dark appearance, including under signed-in addresses.

The inbox now uses the full width of a phone, and formatted mail fits the screen instead of running off its edge.

Formatted mail now fits its frame: wide images shrink, long links wrap, and only a table too wide for the screen scrolls on its own.

On a phone the list and reader reach both screen edges, and each conversation's text starts further left and runs the full width.

The star and More now sit at the end of a conversation's first line on a phone, beside the date.

The phone header keeps your balance and controls on one row, with the Bitcoin price beside the logo.

A phone's composer and pop-out reader fill the screen, the All mail, Unread, and TX tabs share the row evenly, and Transactions text no longer overlaps.

You can now attach files to the mail you write.

Add PDF, PNG, JPEG, GIF, plain text, or EML files to a new message or a reply, up to ten files, 3 MiB each and 20 MiB in total. Pick them, drop them on the composer, or paste an image.

Each file passes a malware check before it can be sent. A blocked file can't be sent or downloaded.

Checks run in a small daily batch for now, so a file can sit at Waiting for a safety scan for a while. It can be sent once it shows Ready.

To forward a received message with its attachments, use Forward as attachment in Details. It sends the whole original as an EML file.

An agent you connect can stage files for outgoing mail if you give it that permission.

You can now attach files to the mail you send.

Attach PDF, PNG, JPEG, GIF, plain text, or EML files when you write or reply in the browser: up to ten files, 3 MiB each and 20 MiB in total.

Each file passes a malware check before it can be sent. Checks run under a shared daily limit, so a file can wait before it is ready to send.

Forwarding a message with its attachments is not available yet.

Our legal pages now match how the service works today.

Deleting your account in Settings removes the text and images of your Community posts.

During the seven-day deletion wait, an outside sender can still pay an address or invoice you created earlier, and you can reach that bitcoin only by canceling the deletion.

You are responsible for what an AI tool you connect does with the permissions you approve.

The Privacy Policy now lists your contacts, access codes, and two-step authenticators, and says what stays after deletion.

Message details are ready when you open them.

Recipients, the sender check, and the rest of a message's details now load with the message, so Details no longer pauses to fetch them.

Reading and writing mail is quieter and more direct, with the controls you expect where you expect them.

Send is now the composer's main action. Drafts save on their own, and the composer shows Saving and Saved beside its title.

New messages, replies, and forwards open at the bottom right, so the conversation stays readable while you write. Centered and full-screen views are one click away in the composer's header.

Cc and Bcc sit at the end of the To row, and a long message scrolls while Send stays in view.

Quoted text now sits behind a labeled Show quoted text control instead of a three-dot button.

The reply bar stays within reach as you read a long message, and the controls under each message are quieter.

Pressing Reply again no longer stops you with a notice. A reply you have not changed simply reopens, and a draft with your words saves before the next one opens.

Our Terms now describe how deleting your account works.

Section 11 says you can delete your account yourself in Settings, under Security, or through support. A deletion takes effect after seven days, and you can cancel it until then.

The inbox now keeps one list with five layouts, and the homepage opens with one row of actions across the full width.

Inbox layout in the header now pictures each choice. Normal opens a conversation in place, while Right, Below, Pop out, and Bottom right keep your list open and show the conversation there. Stack, Sheet, and Islands are gone.

You can resize the message list beside the reading pane.

Archive, trash, restore, read, unread, star, and mute now update your list right away. If a change is refused, the row goes back.

The homepage's Get started, Video Overview, Features, Marketplace, and Agents now share one row, with Satoshi's 2009 line about pay-to-send email spanning the page beneath them. The topline reads "A trusted network. An inbox you control."

Links across the site now use a plain underline on hover instead of a moving wave.

To delete an account that has a wallet, contact support for now.
