Public Community posts, clearer registration and trading, and reliable shortcuts
Release notes are now public Community posts, with complete historical posts and real author attribution. Member discussions remain private. Registering now tells you more at each step: a taken name offers free alternatives, signing in before confirming explains what to do and can send a new link, a recorded payment sends a receipt, and a registration that stalls gets one reminder. The marketplace now opens with your own names, shows ten names for sale per page, and explains short names inside How it works. Checkout keeps its accepted quote on retry, and purchase history shows the destination and original terms. Every footer link now takes a click, and Support sits beside Privacy and Terms. Inbox tools share compact hover surfaces and matching keyboard focus rings. Keyboard shortcuts now keep mail actions, editor formatting, and input-method typing separate.
Product update · November 2, 2026
Earlier release heading: Clearer registration and trading, consistent inbox controls, and reliable shortcuts
Release notes now live as public Community posts. Anyone can read them without signing in, and approved members can discuss them in Community in Settings. Member replies remain private.
The complete historical release notes now appear as real posts by 8@btc.email, with their original dates and full text. Temporary sample conversations are removed.
Constellation, Channels, Pulse field, Pods, Stream, Tiles, and Heatmap show the same real conversations. Public posts are labeled, and their thread inspector links to the public article.
Members search now finds display names as well as handles. Muted members search filters the list, and Pulse field keeps its index and headline readable on a phone.
The operator can publish a reviewed copy of their own Community post for anyone to read. Private replies stay in Community, and hidden posts stop appearing on the public pages.
The former release page is removed without a redirect.
When the name you check is taken, the form now offers free alternatives you can pick with one click, and says when the name is for sale on the Marketplace.
Signing in with the right password before confirming your email now says so, instead of reading as a wrong password, and offers to send a new confirmation email.
When we record your signup payment, you receive a receipt naming the address, the amount, and the option; the welcome still follows when your wave opens.
Your payment email now names the time a Lightning invoice stops being payable, and if it expires unpaid you can reply for a fresh one.
A registration that waits three days on confirmation or on payment gets one reminder, and a registration we could not approve now receives a note saying so and what support can do.
Inbox tools use matching hover surfaces and keyboard focus rings in every layout. Header, reader, composer, and dialog icons keep their full touch targets.
Listing and price changes accept whole sats, including grouped numbers, and reject fractional prices instead of rounding them down.
An unresolved purchase keeps the price split and transfer fee you confirmed, even when the marketplace quote changes.
Your names and purchase history refresh after checkout or payment recovery and when you return to the window. Refresh names also checks for later settlement.
Purchase history names an alias or primary destination, and buyers and sellers can open the original amounts and purchase terms in View details.
Your names, with listing and the way to sign in, now sit above the names for sale, and the invitation to create an account appears once instead of in every section.
Short names and their published reserves are now part of How it works, beside buying and selling.
The large footer wordmark no longer covers the last row of links, so Video and Sign in always open.
The Terms of Service header now keeps only the notice still pending, instead of a long list of past updates.
The phone picture on Features and About now fills its panel, and every arrow on the public pages is now drawn as one matching icon, so a phone never turns one into an emoji.
Holding a shortcut acts once, while conversation and message navigation still repeats. A pending two-key shortcut clears when you change focus, use the pointer, or leave the window.
Buttons in the composer keep inbox shortcuts out. Input-method keys no longer close a draft, send it, choose recipients, insert emoji, or save a template, and Shift+Esc returns to the inbox from recipient and emoji suggestions.
The Bcc shortcut now opens Bcc without also turning the selected message text into a quote.
Settings tabs and Community conversation grids now leave browser navigation keys and input-method keys with the browser and input method.
Follow-up to November 1, 2026: Organization and alias delivery now remembers completed forwarding work across retries. Uncertain older sends wait for review instead of risking another copy.
