Clearer inbox dialogs, suggestions, and wallet setup

Recipient suggestions now include people you replied to in conversations still in your Inbox or Archive, and before you set up a wallet, Total held says so and points to Set up wallet. Inbox dialogs share consistent spacing and clearer controls on smaller screens.

Historical update · October 30, 2026

The BTC.email homepage now reads Bitcoin + Email = BTC.email in your browser tab, in search results, and in link previews.

The BTC.email homepage now links to Agents beside Features and Marketplace.

Inbox dialogs now share consistent padding, field alignment, and button spacing. Pop-out readers keep their tools together in More, narrow readers separate reading position from message actions, and attachment previews keep Close beside the filename.

When you add recipients, suggestions now include people you replied to in a conversation that is still in your Inbox or Archive, not only conversations in Sent.

Sent now lists only conversations you wrote in. A newsletter or other mail you only received stays in your Inbox instead of also appearing in Sent without recipients.

The Bitcoin tab of Settings now shows one bitcoin price: the price in the header and the market reference always come from the same read and update together.

Before you set up a wallet, Total held on the Bitcoin tab of Settings now says your wallet is not set up yet and that Set up wallet creates one, instead of saying your balance is unavailable.

Before you set up a wallet, the Bitcoin tab of Settings no longer shows a last sync time or activity counts for a wallet that does not exist yet.

Before you set up a wallet, the Bitcoin tab of Settings says how to set one up once, under Total held, instead of repeating it on the wallet card and in the activity feed.

While the inbox is still counting unread mail, each label in the sidebar now says its count is loading, and says unavailable only if the count could not be read.

When a label filter cannot load, Retry label filter and Clear label filter now stay together on wide screens and stack on a phone.

A withdrawal you review on the Bitcoin tab of Settings now stays ready for as long as the network fee quote is valid, instead of a fixed minute, and asks you to review again just before that quote expires.

A new message you type into and then clear back to how it opened no longer says Unsaved changes, or shows that notice when you close it, because there is nothing to save.

When mail reaches a tagged version of your address, such as name+shop@btc.email, a to: search for the full address or for +shop alone finds it, and a filter for your address matches it too. Reply all no longer copies you at the tagged address, and it is never suggested back to you as a contact.

A search for mail sent to you, with to:me or your own address, now also finds mail sent to a tagged version of that address, such as name+shop@btc.email.

When you change your address, Settings and the confirmation email now say that after seven days the old inbox and all of its mail are deleted, and how long our email provider keeps a deleted copy in its trash and its backups.

Each account now has one list of people you know, shared by all its addresses: anyone you add, import, write to in To, Cc, or Bcc, reply to or forward, allow by hand, or admit with an access code. Their mail reaches your inbox when it authenticates, and you can write to them and to members. Writing to someone new offers Add and send, which adds them and sends. Blocking someone takes them off the list.

With the reading pane beside your inbox, a click on a conversation's subject now opens it. The actions that appear when you point at a conversation are smaller and sit after the subject, so they no longer cover it and archive the conversation by mistake.

Deleting a contact or a group in Contacts now asks once more: Delete turns into Confirm delete, and only that second press removes it.

Send now works while your draft is still saving, or right after you type. The composer says it is sending once the draft saves, then sends that saved version; if the save fails, nothing is sent and the composer says why.

After the Undo send window, a message now says Message sent once BTC.email accepts it, instead of leaving Submitting message as the last word.

A reply you start with Reply all is now titled Reply all in the composer.

When you connect an agent, Check all and Uncheck all above its requested permissions select or clear every permission at once, without changing your chosen mailboxes or offline access.

The Senders lists in Settings now mark anyone who is also in your contacts: removing them from Senders keeps them among the people you know, and removing a block lets their mail reach your Inbox. To keep a contact out, block them.

Each connection on the Connections tab of Settings now shows when an agent last used it, within about a minute of its latest request, instead of saying Not recorded.
