About, Features, and a longer public brief

About tells why unwanted mail stayed cheap to send, and why neither mail nor Bitcoin has an owner. A Features page explains the inbox, the public address, and how Bitcoin fits. The public brief now walks from networked mail and spam through Bitcoin, says why neither protocol has an off switch, and keeps a dated record of how long the founder has held the idea.

You can change your sign-in email in Settings. Both the old and the new address confirm the change, and the old address is told when it happens.

Sign out ends your session on this browser only, and Settings can still sign out every device. A browser signed out from another device now lands on sign-in instead of bouncing between pages.

Links into Settings open the right tab, including wallet activity and inbox keyboard shortcuts, and a signed-in device shows its city without URL escapes.

Paid filtering stays paused; hosted bitcoin wallets stay on the Bitcoin tab in Settings.

The Bitcoin tab in Settings is your wallet home, with your balance in satoshis, send and receive tools, and signed activity. Public pages and legal copy state its limits: addresses on your profile that are not your hosted wallet are not tracked, activity can omit unclaimed deposits and inbound Lightning that has not settled, and prepaid mail credits stay separate from your balance.

Images in a message show only from senders you allow, your own address, and BTC.email, and only when the receiving server confirmed the sender. Everyone else's stay hidden, and the reader says so.

Trash deletes mail thirty days after it arrives, and you can move it back until then. Spam moves to Trash after the same wait. Delete all spam now asks first and cannot be undone. Settings states both clocks.

Your public profile has two new switches, both off. One lets search engines list the page, and one puts the name you chose on mail you send.

The member referral program is live: share a link from Settings, earn from a new member first priced signup payment, and receive your share by hand in bitcoin over Lightning.

Settings referral history shows who referred you and who you referred, with signup payment status; referral links use server-assigned permanent slugs and a member can turn their link off without affecting past attributions.

The public username marketplace page lists member listings and platform suggestions when the operator turns the feature on. Checkout uses hosted wallet transfers in bitcoin; member sales use two legs and platform suggestions use one payment to the platform recipient.

On the username marketplace, each listing's discount code field and purchase confirmation belong to that listing, so a screen reader names every field and tapping a label reaches the right row.
