Templates, scheduled mail, and a more comfortable composer

Save messages you write often as templates and manage them in Settings. Scheduled send is ready for hosted pilot checks. The composer gains Gmail’s link bubble, emoji search, and keys, plus Send and archive and a default reply choice, a message or conversation prints cleanly, and search understands Gmail’s operators, with Gmail’s search options, search chips, and suggestions as you type. Unsubscribe from a mailing list in one step, as in Gmail, and a sender’s name opens a card to write to them, find their mail, or allow or block them. Mute a busy conversation so its replies skip your inbox, take back a change with Undo or z, choose what opens after you file a conversation, report phishing beside Move to spam, and see new mail arrive in the tab and above your list.

Historical update · October 22, 2026

Select conversation ranges with Shift and extend bulk actions beyond the loaded page, with explicit limits and partial results.

Prepare retained mail lists to report unavailable data when database results are incomplete, instead of showing empty or partial collections; hosted activation remains pending.

Prepare saved mail filters with sender-safe arrival actions, explicit existing-mail scans, and clear unresolved results; hosted activation remains pending.

Show pending and unresolved sender-placement decisions in mail health, with failed reads shown as unavailable; hosted checks remain pending.

Preserve unsubscribe purpose and plain-text forwarding records in support mail archives while keeping older archives readable; hosted checks remain pending.

Prepare safer reports for older mail: use the address that received the message, refuse another account’s sent copy, and preserve counts when storage fails; hosted activation remains pending.

Keep search results from your other addresses when one address reaches the subject-scan limit. The notice names each limited address and asks you to narrow the search.

Prepare reliable phishing reports: concurrent requests and retries record a message once, and a failed counter update rolls back the report; hosted activation remains pending.

Prepare complete totals for retained account records, with unavailable reads reported as errors instead of empty accounts; hosted checks remain pending.

Choose plain-text mode in the composer: confirm removal of formatting and inline images, keep your text and attached files, and reopen the draft in the same mode. Signatures, templates, and mentions still work as text.

Keep private account and email details out of more sign-in failure logs, including local development.

Mention someone as you write: type @ and their name, then choose from your contacts to insert their linked name and add them to To; someone already in To, Cc, or Bcc stays there once.

Keep each message’s Undo send timer when you hide the tab or send another message; closing the tab or leaving the inbox still submits early, with that limit shown before you leave.

Keep unsubscribe emails out of automatic sender allowances and recipient suggestions while preserving people you allowed or wrote to yourself.

Keep Settings changes made during a save, and keep deleted templates out of the list when an earlier save finishes.

Keep large label-filtered lists of retained mail readable, with stable paging and explicit errors when message or label data is incomplete.

Prepare scanned files in saved drafts, with private downloads and expiry checks; file sending stays disabled until hosted safety checks pass.

Prepare dropped files and pasted PNG, JPEG, and GIF images for scanning. A missing-attachment reminder holds sending; file sending remains paused until hosted safety checks pass.

Prepare a private mail-health view for hosted checks, with unavailable sources kept separate from recorded counts.

Reuse your words as in Gmail’s templates: Templates in the composer saves what you have written under a name and inserts any saved template where your cursor is, without your signature or the quoted original, and Settings lets you rename, edit, or delete each one.

Schedule a saved message from your primary address or an alias, including replies and forwards; the time picker names your timezone.

Reopen a scheduled message after closing the page, cancel it to edit, or check Outbox once it has queued.

Keep the saved draft when scheduling cannot proceed, and check an uncertain result before sending another copy.

Write as in Gmail: a link shows a small bubble to edit, remove, or open it, Shift with paste drops formatting, the emoji picker searches by name, ⌘/Ctrl+Shift+- and ⌘/Ctrl+Shift++ change the text size, and ⌘/Ctrl+Shift+D discards the draft.

Choose in Settings whether replying starts with Reply or Reply all, and show Send and archive, which files the conversation once your reply goes; Undo leaves it in your inbox.

Print as in Gmail: Print all or ⌘/Ctrl+P prints the whole conversation with every message opened, and Print in a message’s Details prints just that one, in black on white without the inbox around it; a message that is only formatted prints from its own tab.

Search as in Gmail: from:, to:, subject:, has:attachment, after: and before:, newer_than:, is:unread, is:starred, in:, label:, quoted phrases, -word, and OR between senders narrow your mail, and an operator BTC.email cannot answer yet, such as filename: or larger:, says why instead of being ignored; Keyboard shortcuts lists them all.

Search without typing operators, as in Gmail: the options button at the end of the search field opens From, To, Subject, Has the words, Doesn’t have, Date within, Search in, and Has attachment, and chips above the list narrow by sender, date, attachment, recipient, unread, or label with one click; Is unread and the Unread filter always agree.

Search as you type, as in Gmail: the search field suggests your recent searches on any device and the people you write to; choose a search to run it again, choose a person to find their mail, remove a search you no longer want, and turn search history off or clear it in Settings.

Search this folder or All mail, as in Gmail: the Search in chip widens a search to Inbox, Archive, and Sent and keeps that choice for your next search on the page, Spam and Trash join only when a search names them, and each result names the folder it sits in.

Read a reply signed below its quote as in Gmail: the quote and the signature after it fold together behind the three-dot button, and your own signature is marked the way Gmail marks one, so Gmail folds your replies the same way.

Tell visitors more on your profile: add a short bio, a location, and your website, and show LinkedIn beside X and Nostr; your links sit in tiles two to a row, Settings groups Wallets and Social links into their own sections, and your picture shows larger and square beside its buttons.

Unsubscribe as in Gmail: mailing-list mail from a verified sender shows Unsubscribe beside the sender, which asks first, then uses the sender’s own unsubscribe request or email from the message’s headers, never a link in the message; Also block this sender is one click away, and Settings lists the lists you left.

Meet a sender as in Gmail: rest the pointer on a sender’s name, or click it, to see their name and address with Copy, whether they are allowed, blocked, or new, and the alias they wrote to, then Write to them, find all their mail, or allow or block them without leaving the message.

Mute a conversation as in Gmail: press m or choose Mute conversation, and it leaves your inbox while new replies wait unread in Archive until you unmute, unless a reply names you or one of your aliases in To or Cc, which brings the conversation back to your inbox and ends the mute; starring it or moving it back to Inbox unmutes it, and mail from a sender you blocked still goes to Spam.

Keep reading as in Gmail’s auto-advance: choose in Settings whether archiving, deleting, reporting spam, or muting the conversation you are reading opens the newer one, the older one, or takes you back to your list; ] and [ still archive and step newer or older.

Take back a change as in Gmail: archiving, deleting, reporting spam, moving to Inbox, marking read or unread, starring, muting, changing a selection, or adding or removing a label offers Undo in its notice, and z does the same until your next change; a change detected before the reverse write is left as it is, and the notice says so.

Report phishing as in Gmail: beside Move to spam, or from a message already in Spam, Report phishing says what the report holds before you confirm, sends BTC.email a reference to the message and the sender’s address but nothing to the sender, blocks the sender or, if you choose, their whole domain, moves the conversation to Spam, and tells you how each step went.

Spot mail with files as in Gmail: a paperclip beside the date marks each conversation that carries attachments.

Prepare nested sidebar labels with account-saved visibility and unread counts that distinguish complete, partial, and unavailable reads; hosted activation remains pending.

Organize conversations with colored label chips, a color choice in Manage labels, and bulk Apply label or Remove label with Undo; press v to open the move and label picker.

Read a calendar invitation beside its message: see its title, time, organizer, and location, with clear labels for all-day events, supplied time zones, repeating events, and cancellations; viewing it sends no response and changes no calendar.

Open WebP pictures as in Gmail: a WebP attachment shows its small preview, opens in the viewer, and downloads like a PNG or JPEG instead of being held back.

Read through a busy inbox without waiting: marking conversations read no longer uses up the allowance for archiving, moving, starring, or muting them, and a change BTC.email turns away, such as one made too quickly, says why and leaves your next change free to go; only a change whose result is unknown still asks you to refresh first.

See only your own address under a message you received: Delivered to names the address or alias it reached, as Details does, and the other people it was delivered to stay private.

Notice new mail as in Gmail: while BTC.email is open, the tab title counts the unread conversations in your inbox and the tab icon gains a dot, and New mail above your list brings in what just arrived when you choose Show, keeping open the conversation you are reading.
